The hungerdemic in Nigeria 2024 and the implication of the looting culture on business & governance

The hunger virus in Nigeria is spreading across the 6 Geo political zones, with video evidence of citizens hijacking trucks transporting food items belonging to private business owners for the purpose of looting, citing the present hardship and increase in cost of living as an excuse for such barbaric actions which can degenerate into anarchy if the government failed to act now.

The recent invasion and looting of the warehouse that was reported to belong to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) which was later denied by the agency in the federal capital Territory of Nigeria, is another testament to the frustration, hunger and anger in Nigeria due to the present hardship.

A video evidence showed men, women, and even children carrying away bags of rice, cartons of noodles, and other food items. Some were seen struggling under the weight of their loot, while others frantically grabbed whatever they could lay their hands on.

As a concerned Nigerian youth, leader, business Owner and staunch believer in the renewed hope mandate, I'm using this medium to remind Nigerians that Asiwaju Tinubu has never failed in his leadership history and track record in governance, the present hardship will not last forever.
