Football as a Sports has proven over time that it has a magic of building bridges and uniting people of different categories to chase a common purpose.
According to history, Sport have been used in the time past as a tool for peace promotion and community building by bringing people across their differences I. e ethnicities, race, profession, religion, status, nationalities e. t. c together for a common cause or objectives.
Over the years, football has gone beyond mere sports but has metamorphosed into a sustainable business initiative for global peace in curbing racism, dowsing terrorism and crime in developing countries by giving hope of better future to the children and the youths.
The most popular sports in Africa is football, A major reason the Samuel Egunjobi Empowerment Foundation (Incorporated) through the Rebuild Afrika Academy is capitalising on the power that comes with the sport in Africa, by combining it with education to discover, train, mentor, support, empower and unites the youth towards a common goal which is to "Make the World a better place'' by starting from our immediate community.
Our incubation programme started some months ago in Nigera, where we discovered the talent of children and youth below the age of 17, sharpen their intelligence through coaching beyond football, give them direction on how to achieve their life purpose but using football as the tool to help their mindset as they journey towards self development in a positive way.
As an experienced social entrepreneur, the root cause of the problem of the average Nigerian youth despite the deposit of talents overflowing across the 6Geo Political Zones that made up Nigeria are ; the failure of leadership, lack of quality education and direction, uneven distribution of resources, deteriorating value system that celebrate wealth without venture and others.
The youths are the reflection of every society, been the country in Africa with highest population of youth and the most successful youths of African origin in Diaspora, our foundation will continues to empower skillful youth, promote talented teens and support the girl child education, encourage people in business and rural traders so as to discourage the next generation from fraud, human trafficking, dehumanization, cyber crime, prostitution, child labour and other social vices that are encouraging kidnapping for ransom and terrorism.
