The youths are the forces of invention, catalyst for innovation and the bridge between the past and the future. It’s a privilege for me to be recognizedas a visionary and transformative leader by the International Human Rights Commission in the year 2023 during the International Youth Week for the impacts and mission statement establishing the Rebuild Afrika, incorporating the Samuel Egunjobi Empowerment Foundation (RC) and also taking a bold step through the Ondo Food bank Agri- Initiative in alignment with the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) Goal 2, as a contribution and measure towards stemming the predicted hunger crises in the year 2023, which is now glaring through current market prices of food and other farms produces in Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
Different scholars and organizations in the time past have emphasized and cited different reasons why the Nigerian government should invest heavily on youth empowerment through education (technical, skills, theoretical and historical) and support for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to encourage entrepreneurship and ending massive youths unemployment.
