One of the ways of ensuring inter community harmony and peaceful coexistence is through cultural exchange, value integration and inculcation of culture for peace as a subject in our academic curriculum.

Culture is define as the way of life of group of people living together. and can also be the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society.

By virtue of it's deep rooted connection to people, culture of peace promotes the values, attitudes, institutions and structures that create and sustain peaceful societies through a range of human rights-based actions, including education, culture and media.

United Nations definition, “a Culture of peace is a set of values, attitudes, traditions and modes of behaviors and ways of life that reject violence and prevent conflicts by tackling their root causes to solve problems through dialogue and negotiation among individuals, groups and nations.”
