The road to success is always under construction; exemplary life without the need for competition, immediate gratification and public validation

Living a life of positive impacts in the world full of negativity can be challenging due to the current reality of things in the world.

‎Most people are driven by the need to meet societal standard rather than alignment with divine purpose.

‎People are always competing with one another, trying to outmanoeuvre each other instead of collaborating with one another and complementing their mutual efforts for collective growth and improvement.

‎Although, competition is one of the newly discovered characteristics of living things by scientists, as plants compete for sunlight in their domains, likewise the animals compete for food in the wild.

Human being as higher animals and advance beings have painted another picture of competition, friends competing indirectly with their fellows in terms of aspirations and achievements, co-workers competing with colleagues in the work place, backstabbing and sabotaging the efforts of others in the same group or unit or department, rather than contributing ideas and complimenting each other towards the actualization of organization objectives and goals.

‎Does competition truly improved people and strengthen unity?

‎In some instances, competition encourages continuous improvement and sharpen the survival instinct in men but in some cases, it breeds resentment and jealousy.

‎Self competition through the setting of daily targets and weekly performance assessment can trigger real improvement and fulfilment, but competing with others can lead to bitterness rather than betterness if they are more successful and productive.
