THE PILGRIMAGE TO HOLY KABBAH: IS PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU THE PROPHESIED POLITICAL CHOSEN ONE SENT TO ILLUMINATE THE DARKNESS OF NIGERIA?
The recent visit of the commander in chief of armed forces of Nigeria to the Saudi Arabia to pray for the most populous country on the continent of Africa have sparked a fresh arguments among political pundits, raised hopes of answered prayers among faithful political followers, activated the silent mode for hate preaching clerics referring to the President as an infidel because he's of Yoruba origin and his liberal approach to religion, and have also set a fire of confusion in the camp of politicians that have weaponised terrorism and ethnic bigotry using islamic sentiments to brainwashed their uneducated followers by labelling the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu as an unbeliever and not to regard the President as a faithful follower of islam and Al-sunah.
In the history of political event in Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) have demonstrated some traits of the chosen one since coming into mainstream politics of Nigeria in 1993, becoming a senator of the republic on the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP), also playing a prominent role in ensuring the victory of Moshood Kashimawo Abiola (M.K.O) whose Presidential victory was annulled in 1993, an injustice that led to uprising and formation of National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) to advocate for democratic justice, values, ethics and supremacy of rule of law rather than military decree.
The role of the young Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the struggle for the return to democratic governance cannot be under emphasized. although, some leftists have tried to discredit his efforts in the struggle to ensure the return of Nigeria to democracy, labeling his efforts from exile as fruitless and act of cowardice, neglecting the fact that Biblical Moses (Prophet Musa) who led his people out of captivity in Egypt also flee to exile to strategies, learn, grow in wisdom and established a relationship with God to understand his mission.
The return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Nigeria from exile and becoming the Governor of Lagos State set a motion of transformational development across spheres with equal opportunities for Lagosians.
His Government between 1999-2007 created jobs, support system for wealth building among legitimate business owners, established new institutions, re-engineer the model for civil service operation, provided Basic education and made education free in Lagos Public Secondary School, created a wasted management system to tackle refuse littering across the metropolis, ensured widespread development across local government and revenue generating formulas as alternative to dependence on monthly allocation from the Federal Government of Nigeria, without disrespecting traditional rulers, cultural stakeholders and religious clerics.
Between 1999-2007, President Bola Tinubu have transformed the image of Lagos and drafted a roadmap of accelerated development for future administrators of the state.
He introduced a visionary Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF) to continue from where he stopped, Fashola expanded the growth, Akinwunmi Ambode took the baton of continuous acceleration rooted in people oriented programmes and structural development, Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu consolidated on the gains of his predecessors by bringing innovation to governance, raising the standard of the centre of excellence and Eko Atlantic City is now a reality.
One of the attributes of the divinely chosen ones is the gift of vision, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have demonstrated it through his visionary approach to leadership, politics, economics, administration, governance and international relations.
Luck is real but not replicable, but talents and gifts are natural and are virtues bestowed on mankind by the divine for easy navigation of the earth and to serve as strength for the mission on earth.
The building talents of President Tinubu is another sign that he's a God sent but not without sins. The formation of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and transformation to Action Congress (AC) and later to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), President Bola Tinubu became an architect in people building since his days as Governor and after stepping aside as Governor, but never stopped building people, discovering talents and expanding his political party, a platform that gave many politicians an opportunity to contest for various political positions in Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar in 2007 and Nuhu Ribadu 2011 respectively.
Could it be that Muhammadu Buhari was unlucky when he contested in 2003, 2007 and 2011? Or because he didn't align with the political chosen one?
President Bola Tinubu played a significant and historic role in the formation of All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2014, a political platform that gave Muhammadu Buhari an opportunity to lead Nigeria in the democratic dispensation and at a time when he was about to lose hope due to failure on several occasions until alignment with Bola Tinubu.
The path of the chosen ones and prophets in the Bible and Quran were not a smooth journey but laced with obstacles, sabotage betrayals, distrust, mischiefs, jealousy but eventually crowned with glory at the end of their mission.
President Bola Tinubu faced internal opposition from the party he helped created when he declared his interest to run for the position of President after Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. The intention resulted to internal strife, chaos, political ambushed and powerplay to destroy his ambition but focused on the bigger picture even when the cabals and the odds were against him due to series of betrayals, obstruction, frustration through CBN policies on cash and change of naira to drain his chances, aside other campaign of calumny by external oppositions but eventually triumphed and was sworn in as the President of Nigeria.
Since coming into power and occupying the office of the President, Nigeria have witnessed countless economic and industrial reforms, infrastructural projects commissioned, education friendly policies, local government autonomy, unified exchange system, policies to ensure enabling and thriving business environment to attract investors, military restructuring with modern day arms, ammunitions, welfare packages, new military training depot across zones, housing structures for active military personnel and adequate pension for retired officers.
The visit to the Holy Kabbbah and kissing the sacred stone during the prayer for Nigeria and Africa is another sign that President Bola Tinubu is favoured and chosen by the divine as an answered to the prayer of Nigerians in the Southern and Northern part of the country.
President Tinubu is the only President in the history of Nigeria to have a structural control of over 30 states with opposition parties also endorsing his capabilities and vision of catapulting Nigeria to greater heights, and the anointed one to lead over 300ethnic groups to the promise land.
