The Olowo of Owo appointed as Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Jigawa and Visited Emir of Kano
The ancient kingdom of owo is a local government area in Ondo state, Nigeria. Between 1400 and 1600 C.E, it was the capital of a Yoruba city-state.
The first Olowo of Owo was the direct descendant of oduduwa, known as the father of the Yorubas. The current Olowo of Owo is His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, who is also the 32nd paramount ruler of Owo.
Birth of new dawn towards cultural resuscitation, cultural alliance and building bridges beyond limits in Nigeria and beyond
The imperial Majesty was received by the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero in the city of Kano as organized by the Federal University of Technology Jigawa.
