Armed bandits invaded palace in Ondo state, attempted to kidnap the monarch but ended up assassinating him.

Fears and panic have erupted in the minds of the locals since the invasion of the palace of a king in Akure north. It was reported that armed bandits stormed the palace with intention of whisking away the traditional ruler into the bush, but the king resisted the kidnappers, he was shot multiple times but the bullet didn't penetrate until an heavier object was used to smash his head and lost consciousness.
The traditional ruler of Agamọ Community in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Kehinde Falodun's body was discovered few metres away from his home and confirmed dead.
The Nigeria police force and other security agencies have launched manhunt to fish out the perpetrators of this heinous and inhumane crime.
